Located at 5305 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35242, New Day Car Wash operates as a car wash serving Birmingham in Alabama. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (205) 460-5280. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, newdaycarwash.com.

Birmingham is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Birmingham is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Alabama's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This car wash is the first car wash that I know to have all that you need! Any other car wash that I have attended, I would come already prepared with cleaners and things but, they have everything that you need, cleaners , two vacuum sizes, towels, a compressor and more! What I love about this car wash, is everything is labeled, there are labels explaining what each item is or does specifically. The customer service is amazing, if you are needing they are amazing workers, they have exceptional customer service. The worker that helped me today make was Morgan T. He attitude is amazing, she has a beautiful smile and her greetings just made me feel like I was appreciated. Thank You New Day Carwash for an amazing experience

Came in as a non member, Noah was very nice & professional and offered us a discounted wash after seeing the condition of our vehicle after being attacked by birds in the hotel parking lot. Wash was incredibly well done, we could not be more satisfied. 10/10!

I’m so impressed with this brand-new car wash! My kids love riding in the car while it’s being washed. The service is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly professional. Plus, the vacuums are super high-quality and come free. My car is spotless and looks like it’s brand new again. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Really amazing place Get the monthly discounts! *** FOR VETERANS *** Im a disabled veteran, nothing physical but the regular car washes are $35 per wash per car and vacuum... For a normal person monthly is $30 you can go as ANY TIMES AS YOU WANT IN A MONTH! BUT..... FOR VETERANS..... Its $20 a month - Go endless amount of times - if you wanted to come five times a day for 30 days straight, it's not going to cost you a single penny. You paid $20 for an entire month for the $35 per wash for a normal person. So if a normal person goes five times = $175 For veterans who pay monthly - If they go five times = $20 TOTAL Super regular person you can pay monthly $20 a month and go as many times as you want Veterans you can pay $20 a month and go as many times as you want.
